Our Capability

Proudly built in Australia

From our head office in South Nowra, NSW, GDS has successfully designed and manufactured a range of products for Defence, Government Organisations, and the Space Industry over the past 25 years. We have continued to expand our manufacturing capability to include sovereign textiles fabrication, heavy fabrication and lighting & power distribution and now employ over 70 staff members in Regional Australia.

Heavy Fabrication

Our experienced team of engineers and tradespeople design and build specialised containers from our heavy fabrication facility in South Nowra, NSW. We work closely with you from initial concept, through complete fitout, to deliver a solution to meet your requirements.

Textiles Fabrication

We expanded into a new dedicated textiles fabrication facility at the end of 2021 to complete JP2060 program for ADF. Our capability includes:
  • Dedicated PVC manufacturing facility
  • High frequency welder
  • CNC Plotter & Cutter
  • Automatic pattern sewing machines

Lighting & Power

The GDS lighting and power division design and build portable lighting and power distribution systems to meet your requirements. Our team of qualified electricians and assemblers specialise in customised solutions for power distribution, portable outlet devices and lighting that are fit for purpose and packaged to your requirements.
