This Wednesday we celebrated the official opening of our new Product Showcase at our South Nowra facility, hosted in collaboration with the Australian Industry & Defence Network – NSW (AIDN).
The event kicked off with fresh breakfast and coffee and a warm Welcome to Country from Uncle Tom Moore. Alkath Group’s Managing Director Phil Guy and Global Defence Solutions’ (GDS) General Manager Jeromy Bendall provided insights into Alkath Group’s historic milestones. Up next was AIDN NSW Vice President Peter Jenkins who gave an overview of AIDN’s involvement in the industry and their upcoming events.
One of the highlights of the event was Tim Smeets from SMETEC become the first Australian to use our water reuse shower system. In recognition of participating in the product live demonstration, Alkath Group presented Tim with a $500 cheque for his chosen charity.
The day continued with facility tours, demonstration of the V-54 assembly and networking.
