Alkath Group, known for its innovative solutions in the defence and emergency services sectors, is set to open a new Product Showcase centre in Nowra.

This initiative, to be launched on 15 May in collaboration with the Australian Industry and Defence Network (AIDN), marks a significant milestone for the company.

Located within the Shoalhaven defence precinct at Alkath Group’s headquarters, the Product Showcase has been designed to enhance the client experience, said Managing Director Phil Guy.

“By bringing together many of Alkath Group’s products from our subsidiaries Global Defence Solutions (GDS), Mellori Solutions and Resilience Logistic Solutions under one roof, the centre offers the opportunity for clients to explore our range of solutions firsthand, all focused on enhancing security and life support,” said Guy.

“This showcase not only gives you an idea of the range of our products but also provides a comprehensive understanding of their features and benefits. Visitors can engage with our experts, ensuring that the solutions we offer are tailored to their specific requirements.

“The new space also creates an ongoing opportunity for our clients to visit regularly, walk through our showcase and gain insights into how our products are evolving.”

Highlights of the initial showcase include live demonstrations of the V-Shelter range, an advanced soft shelter solution that is rapidly assembled with minimal manpower and a state-of-the-art mobile water reuse system designed for off-grid deployment. Additionally, a range of Mellori Solutions products currently supporting the Australian and New Zealand Defence Forces will be featured.

“We are committed to making our innovative products more accessible to our clients and partners and believe this new centre will allow us to demonstrate how technology meets practicality, offering a close up look at our range of innovative solutions that meet many of the challenges our country faces,” said GDS General Manager Jeromy Bendall.

“We invite industry professionals, clients and partners to join us at the AIDN event on 15 May for the launch of our showcase centre,” he said.

“This event will allow our visitors to take a deep dive into the future of defence and emergency preparedness.”

The AIDN event will also feature a tour through Alkath Group’s dedicated design and manufacturing facilities, including their canvas and PVC textile design centre and metal fabrication building, crucial to the Australian Deployable Health Capability (JP2060 Phase 3). Visitors will also see GDS’ repair, overhaul and maintenance facilities and learn about Mellori Solutions’ electronic warfare testing, training and technology.
